VULVA POWER- a day to celebrate, honour & affirm our genitals

VULVA POWER- a day to celebrate, honour & affirm our genitals

Date/Time
Date(s) - Saturday 13th April 2019
10:00 am - 6:00 pm

Location
Vienna

Like faces and snowflakes, our vulvas are completely unique and beautiful.
They can be a place of intense joy, pleasure, wonder and arousal and support our sexual expression and happiness, yet also a place of pain, anxiety, shame, self-judgement and distress.

Maybe we have been shamed for the appearance of our genitals, we might hold memories of experiences of unwanted touch or feel that our vulvas ought to look a particular and different way.
And how we feel about our vulvas can greatly affect our self- and body image and how we feel about our sexuality.

There is still little education about the huge variety of vulvas- and if we feel unhappy or even distressed about our genitals it can feel very isolating and difficult to find spaces where we can talk freely and comfortably about our genitals.

This day is a warm invitation to gather in a small group and talk about our most intimate parts. We will share how we call our precious bits, explore the anatomy of arousal and celebrate the uniqueness and beauty of our genitals .

We will work with guided visualisations, share in small circles and create representations of our genitals with different art materials- we will doodle, collage, paint or sculpt our genitals in wild and wonderful ways: realistic, abstract or symbolic -and listen to what they have to say.
There will be space for a ‘show and tell’ and sharing in small and large circle and an affirmation ritual.

This workshop is kept deliberately small and is limited- early booking is recommended;

Some testimonials from previous workshops:
‘Diving into the deep layers of consciousness of my genitals, into layers of collective experience and shame was a really powerful, creative and joyful experience as well as an emotional one. There was such tranquility in non-judgmental sensing, watching and listening that touched my deep desire for profound respect and appreciation..’
Sara Ablinger

‘Eva is a warm facilitator who held a sensitive, non-judgmental space in which I felt seen and heard and secure to explore themes of sexuality, genitals, and identity.
The workshop was very well structured- it was beautiful to be given a space where I could explore my relationship to my genitals in a creative and safe way.
I particularly valued as the whole group looked silently at the creation I had made of my genitals with quiet appreciation- it felt very healing.’ Ines

This day is open for all vulva owners including trans-women and non-binary folks;
Cost: £85 for the day (some concessions, please enquire) It is kept small at 6 participants max, so please book early.

‘Deep thank you for your workshop, which has opened for me an inspiring opportunity to creatively dive into my emotional and embodied relationship with my genitals as it is changing and continuously evolving’ Phi*
