As we sense and listen to our bodies through movement, meditation, sensing and embodiment exercises, we let messages of the body speak: in clay, in paint, in words, collage, with broad strokes, on large paper or in notebooks. We might dance our bones, paint from the murmours of our blood, write the story of our skin, take notations from our muscles, sculpt our hearts or doodle our genitals.
Sexuality is our birthright- but many people feel disconnected from their sexuality. Reasons for this can range from traumatic experiences to lack of confidence or opportunity, physical pain, depression, recovery from illness, body shame or dysphoria, etc.
Opportunities to talk openly about sex or obstacles related to sex are rare and often go under-explored even in counselling and therapy. This small group offers a safe and confidential space to explore your relationship with sex and sexuality through creative media such as paints, drawing, collage and clay, simple embodiment exercises and group discussion.
Working in a group can help lessen isolation and foster a sense of belonging and hope. Through group discussion we can explore meaning and symbolism that might arise in the images Creating/ art making allows you to express yourself beyond words, discover more about yourself, your desires, obstacles, values and boundaries.
Often our creations give us hints and directions about how to progress on the journey back to sex and to reclaim the joy of our sexuality.
No experience of art-making necessary, only a willingness to engage with art material and openness to engage in the process.
This is a small group for anyone identifying as a woman-trans women warmly welcome.
The group takes place in a beautiful studio in Saltdean- please get in touch to book or to find out more
Cost: £120 for 4 sessions including all materials

‘I really loved the course with Eva. She holds a safe space to share and explore intimacy through creativity. It was a real gift to myself and has awakened something beautiful in me. The space itself is very held in nature and felt like a very healing place to be. I am certainly curious to explore further!‘
‘This was a nurtured, well led group by Eva who allows such self expression to emerge through dance, art and sharing. I loved it! A well needed time to come home to myself. Eva has so much knowledge and wisdom and I feel I am re-membering my sensual self. Thank you!’
